Driver Dan's Story Train

Here's what i've been up to for the past 12 months. I worked as a Green Screen Compositor at A Productions for Series 2 of Driver Dan's Story Train.

This involved keying 40 seconds of live action footage for each episode using Keylight 1.2 and then grading this in After Effects. I also edited a majority of the gorgeous background illustrations using Photoshop to adapt them for the episodes.

This design was a great way for me to experiment with interface design, plus using expressions to generate the movement for all animated elements.

Meet Fabler 'The Finch' Rhumbs. I found him living in a discarded dog food tin somewhere outside. He is currently training for his flying license, I might film him as he learns and see how he gets on!
